Congratulations to Nathan Gudenkauf and Ross Latta for achieving the designation of Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholar. This recognition means that these two individuals have developed academic, technical and employability skills and demonstrated leadership and community engagement as graduating seniors in Kansas. This year, KSDE announced 50 students received this honor. Congratulations Nathan and Ross!!
JH Band 7/8 combined rehearsal during 7th hour on Friday April 23 and during 8th hour on Tues. the 27th.

The yearbook would like you to sign a page that has your graduation year on it for the yearbook. This is located in Mrs. Anderson’s room (Room 509 – right between Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. Frazee’s room). Please make sure you use the black pen that is with the items to sign. Anyone interested in taking the CNA Summer Class through Highland stop by Ms. Busch's or Mrs. Behren's office.
Anyone taking Speech this summer or any Concurrent/Online class this fall will need to get registered through Highland. Please, check your emails that have been coming from Ms. Busch on instructions for the enrollment process or stop by her office to have questions answered.
On May 6th we will be having a Mental Health Mini Fair for all students 7-12. There will be a Guest Speaker and then additional sessions that students will be able to attend.
In the morning we will be having the Senior Signing to be followed by the Mini Fair. We plan on wrapping things by the end of 4th hour.
Senior Scholastic Recognition Night will be May 13th in the Auditorium at 7:00p.m.

The Beach Boys will bring their California lifestyle to Marshall County this summer. Billed as America’s favorite band, they will perform a two-hour concert Saturday, July 31, at Alcove Spring Historic Park, six miles south of Marysville, Kan. and six miles north of Blue Rapids, Kan. Gates to the park open at 3 p.m. with music starting at 4:30 p.m. The Beach Boys will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale and may be purchased at mcactickets.com. Tickets are $95 for pit experience, $75 for mid-park, and $55 for general admission. Children three and under are admitted free.
