COUNSELOR:
Post-Secondary:
I wanted to let you know that if you are ever wondering how a dual credit or online course will transfer into a future program of study please let me know and I will figure it out for you.
If you know what you want to major in after high school and you know what school you are interested in attending I can usually find the classes that you will need to take and what classes from highland will fulfill the basic electives. This information is valuable as you begin to think about what classes you are taking next semester and for juniors next year.
Please let me know if you need help or have any questions. Mrs. Behrens
Juniors/Seniors:
Many colleges and universities are still having on-campus visits while maintaining Covid safety precautions. If you need to go on a college visit please contact Mrs. Behrens. If you would rather meet a representative virtually that can also be arranged.
As you begin to take classes for dual credit or classes online please plan for how those will transfer into your program of study. If you have questions about what general elective credits they will transfer in please reach out to Mrs. Behrens.
Seniors:
If you are pursuing a degree in agriculture or science please look at applying for the Helena Acre Homegrown Scholarship. Mrs. Behrens sent out an email, and there is a flyer located outside of the counseling office.
Juniors:
This is a final reminder for signing up for the Free-ACT in February which will take place at the high school during the school day. If you have not already let Mrs. Behrens know that you will be taking the test do so ASAP.
