The CTSO Trick-or-Treat So Others Can Eat community service project will be on Monday, October 28. CTSO stands for Career and Technical Student Organization. On October 28, FBLA, FCCLA and FFA members will meet at the Ag building at 6:30 p.m to come together to trick-or-treat throughout the Marysville community for non-perishable food and personal care items for the Marshall County Helping Hands Food Pantry. The MJSHS CTSO's thank our wonderful community in advance for your support of our joint community service project!
COUNSELOR:
Students who are interested in taking any Online classes through Highland can view class availability on the website @ https://highlandcc.edu/pages/hcc-online-course-schedule
Students who will be taking Concurrent (College credit through Highland) courses in the Spring (Adv. Comp II, Speech, College. Alg., Stats, Physiology) can start to enroll online. If you have never enrolled through MYHCC you will need to set up an account. Ms. Busch will be meeting with students in the next couple of weeks.
FASFA presentation with Ray Kruse will be on Oct. 30th at 7:00p.m . in the Media Center.
NHS current and new members will meet in Ms. Busch's Office Nov. 1st
Career Exploration Day will be Nov. 14th:

Juniors will attend the Career Fair in Centralia
7-10 will be participating in various career exploration activities.

High School Seniors may participate in the 2019-2020 Rural Voices Youth Contest. Deadline is December 2, 2019.
Schedules for Spring CNA classes are in Ms. Busch's and Mrs. Behren's Offices.
Students that are taking College Algebra in the Spring and do not have a qualifying score (ACT 21) will need to schedule an Asset test with Ms. Busch
Post-Secondary:
All 9th Grade Students will be taking the Pre-ACT on Oct. 30 in the old gym. They will check into their 1st hour class and then will report to the gym. The test will last part way through 4th hour. They need to have a #2 pencil and a calculator.
There were 12 students who missed filling in the demographic portion on Wednesday and they will do this on Monday morning during 2nd hour in the media center. They should check in with their AEP teachers and then report. They should have a #2 pencil.
There will be no bells or announcements on this date (teachers please release at time)
There will be no second chance breakfast due to students testing.
Post-Secondary:
There will college reps from Wichita State, Cowley Co, and Bethany (listen to the announcement for location) during 2nd hour on Oct 30.
