On April 15th there were 18 members of the Biology Club (BioClub) present making posters In Mrs. Kim Houtz's lab. The students were Ben Frese, Mercedes Zutterman, Morgan Burnley, Autumn Schramm, Cami Schrair, Macie Behrens, Sydney Fisher, Alicia Housley, Shaleena Cook, Avery Lynch, Rachel Holthaus, Emma Peschel, Rhoey Cruz, Grace Friedrichson, Jordan Wheeler, Nicole Franco, Chloe Voet, and Aubrey Germann. April 22nd, is Earth Day, the BioClub made the posters to make the other students aware of Earth Day. It is the BioClub's hope that everyone will treat the Earth kindly and recycle and think before they pollute in any way. The students were allowed to only use recyclable materials. Much of the material used came from the recycle bins kept in the teachers classrooms. The posters had to have a message to promote Earth Day and to remind students to take care of the Earth. Students who attended our last BioClub meeting came up with the idea. While making the posters the students got to have pizza, sodas and water to drink. Many of the students felt it was a lot of fun to get together informally as a club. They met in Mrs. Hout's lab on April 15th from 6:15 - 8:15. "It was a good way to bond as a club," said member Autumn Schramm.
